Custom content creates marketing value in terms of the search engines. Conversely, duplicate content is useless in terms of search marketing and that is even more true with the early 2012 Google update Panda. Google has continue to refine its ability to find and devalue duplicate content.
Unfortunately there are no short cuts to good search engine optimization or ‘instant’ content that will do the trick. Having some kind of standard, canned copy from a template system may not hurt you, or result in active penalization in terms of search engine rankings, but it is unlikely to help much. Sort of like being invisible.
